I share many of Marla&#039;s experiences--from feeling a bit out of place with stay at home moms to missing being around colleagues at work to feeling pulled in many directions. I made peace with the dichotomy by starting my own home based book-coaching business--helping aspiring authors write their books and get published. Yet, I think it&#039;s always a dance and a dynamic thing to look for balance and enjoy work without having it take over. And as a freelancer, it can be hard to turn down work, but we need to know when to say, &quot;no&quot; so that our family life gets its due.
By the way, Marla&#039;s watercolors are exquisite. They have the realism of oil paintings</description>
